LI - to measure using baking tools

Room 2 are getting ready for our big baking day. We used measuring cups and spoons to measure how much we needed when Mrs Christie (our student teacher) asked us 1 cup or 1/2 cup and 1 table spoon and 1 teaspoon. We also sorted the bears and their porridge from smallest to biggest.

LI - to recognise the first sound of a word

In Room 2 we are trying our best to sound out the sounds that we hear in a word. The word queen begins with a q, volcano begins with v, kangaroo begins with k and zoo begins with z!

LI - to read out loud my sentences

After reading the story ‘The Marble Maker’, Room 2 has made a beautiful marble using salad spinner and paint. We also talked about feelings and how we feel after making the piece of art. Did we feel proud? Do I love my marble? What does the colours make me feel?
